“Freeing the Writer Within”
I chose this as the guiding image for my site because it evokes several aspects related to my writing life. The quote is from Natalie Goldberg’s book “Writing Down the Bones: Freeing the Writer Within,” which was one of the first books that taught me how to freewrite. Freeing the writing mind is like opening a high window. During the practice, you stay in the room, but the window is open.
